Roslyn, New York, U.S. - April 12, 2014 - During International Slow Art Day, Sandias (Watermelon), a cor-ten steel sculpture 60"2102"x39", by sculptor Ana Mercedes Hoyos, is one of many outdoor artworks at the Nassau County Museum of Art on Long Island. During this annual worldwide event, those participating went to local museums and viewed a small number of works of art, each for at least 10 minutes, and then discussed them afterward.
