Mill Neck, New York, U.S. 12th October 2013. People visit the Cheese House at the annual Fall Harvest Festival, also known as Apple Fest, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors with its food and more, on the grounds of Mill Neck Manor, an historic Gold Coast estate, during Columbus Day weekend. The Tudor Revival style building of wood and stucco has a slate roof with tiles that are biggest along the bottom and become smaller as they reach the top of the roof, to create an optical illusion that the building is actually bigger than it is. Proceeds benefit the Mill Neck Family of organizations including the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf.
