Students Walk Out on Long Island to Protest Gun Violence

Nassau County Police cars are parked in front of Mepham High School for security if needed, as students, protesting gun violence, walk out of class for 17 minutes; one minute for each student shot and killed last month in a Parkland, Florida, H.S. Students are seen in distance between the patrol cars. It was part of a nationwide walkout in soildarity with student shooting victims, and a demand for U.S. laws to reduce gun violence.
